ABOUT ALPINE
In September 1895, a seed was planted in the hearts of ten faithful men and women to establish a church in Rapides Parish north of the Red River. And so it was that Alpine First Baptist Church had its beginnings. The faithfulness of the founders of our church 125 years ago has indeed paved the way for our continued ministry today.
At Alpine we believe that the greatest pursuit in all of our lives is to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength. The second being this, to love our neighbor as ourselves.

Our mission statement is simple: To know God, and make Him known. We believe that God has revealed himself to us through Jesus and because Jesus lives we live for Him.
